Besides the normal wear, the overall condition is amazing! This locket has light superficial scratches, it is in great shape with a sturdy and firm hinge and closes securely with a snap. This locket opens to reveal two original sterling silver frames with no clear oval covers. This can be added easily.
This entire locket is in excellent antique condition with slight patina, no damages or no repairs! Looks to be very seldom used condition or possibly only for Sunday best, as they did in the Victorian Era!
It has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped with soft jewelry cleaning cloth on the exterior. This is truly an amazing piece of history to own, it is breathtaking!
