This is a superb quality Victorian silver locket. It is absolutely wonderful and epic! Heavy silver with 3 dimensional cross and engraving on both sides.
Besides the normal surface wear, the overall condition is exceptionally impressive. This locket has light superficial scratches, it is in amazing shape with a sturdy and firm hinge and closes securely. This locket opens to reveal two clear covers with hair on one side and an old photograph on the other.
It is in excellent antique condition with slight patina. It has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped with soft jewelry cleaning cloth.
Mark(s): Registration marks, tested as sterling silver.
