This original chunky Victorian French Textured Curb Bracelet is an exquisite find!
Considering it is over 100 years old, the overall condition is extremely impressive despite normal wear. The chain shows typical surface scratches, and the clasp functions perfectly.
Condition: Although the links are hollow, the bracelet has a substantial weight of 23.3 grams. This unique chain features a combination of textured and plain chunky links. It has developed a minor patina and has not been professionally cleaned, leaving this decision to the new owner. I have only given it a gentle wipe with a soft jewelry cleaning cloth.
Marks: One of the end links bears the French hallmarks of the boar's head (Tête de Sanglier), which is the French standard mark of the Paris Assay Office, indicating a fineness of 800 or higher on small articles. There is another boar's head on the other end link.
