Victorian 'Amity, Eternity, Infinity' Whitby Jet Mourning Black Memento Mori Locket Pendant.
A very lovely and elegant black hand carved Whitby Jet with brass oval mourning locket. It has hand carved letters 'AEI', which stands for 'Amity, Eternity, Infinity'.
It is in excellent condition with only surface scratches, but they aren't noticeable in person since the locket is black. The locket opens to reveal 2 original frame inserts and acetate covers to keep photos well protected. This is truly a treasure from the past. Beautiful locket, clean and ready to wear or give as a gift.
