This large Victorian locket has gorgeous hand engravings. I cannot be sure if the design on the front are monogrammed letters or simply just motifs. It is in amazing shape with a sturdy and firm hinge and closes securely. This locket opens to reveal substantial space for more than photos and its on the heavy side. This may have been a mourning locket. There are no frame inserts or covers but can be added easily.
There are no repairs or damages. It is in great antique condition with some patina. This locket pendant can be wore alone or with other pendants. It has been cleaned with some patina, ready to wear or give as a gift.
