This is an unusual niello charm. The frame of the horseshoe does not have any black niello, just the beautiful rose gold gilt accents. The horse head may be brass, copper, or rose gold gilt, it was not tested. I did not wish to make any mark on the horse head as it is in excellent condition!
There are no damages or repairs, the overall condition is amazing on this beautiful charm/pendant. There are 2 air holes on the back indicating the hollow constructions of the horseshoe.
There are some patina and has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped with soft jewelry cleaning cloth.
An antique pocket watch dog clip, sterling silver, has been attached to this case to easily clip on or off to any chain.
Mark(s): Unmarked, tested as 800 silver.
