This amazing niello locket is adorned in different black metalwork on both sides.
There are normal wear to this locket. There are no repairs, only surface scratches and 1 minuscule dent on the back. The rose gold on the front cover is in excellent condition. The back has a tiny spot of niello missing.
There is one original silver frames in the locket, with covers missing, all can be easily added. The hinge is in excellent working condition and the locket closes easily and stays securely closed with a snap.
There's minor patina and has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped the exterior with soft jewelry cleaning cloth. This is a wonderful locket and if you love niello, this will be a favorite in your collection!
