Antique Victorian 800 Silver Niello Rose Gold Vermeil Watch Chain Necklace (18.25" inches) MB38

This is a very pretty niello chain necklace with an oversized spring ring clasp and a dog clip that is in incredible working condition. The chain is 16.75" inches long without the clasps, and is 18.25" inches long with both of the clasps.

The clasps are working fine and have been conditioned and cleaned. The tension on the big bolt is very smooth and strong. Even the niello on the big bolt clasp shows almost no wear with strong rose gold gilt on it , it is very rare! It's easily adjusted to be wearable as a necklace, twice round as a bracelet or use it as an extension to a longer necklace.

Under close inspections, there is little wear to the niello links and some of the rose gold gilt is worn on the high spots but still quite pretty. This is nicely substantial at 22 grams, and the chain is 800 silver and has been tested. This is truly breathtaking, the photos do not do it much justice!

There are very little patina and has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped with soft jewelry cleaning cloth. It is cleaned, ready to wear or gift!

Mark(s): It bears the silver purity mark, “800”. This chain was tested as 800 silver.
