A pair of rose gold vermeil horseshoe against a backdrop of niello sheen - these are in excellent condition! These may have been only used for Sunday best!
These cufflinks were so hard to photograph as most niello pieces, but they are wonderful looking in person.
The overall condition is impressive. I couldn't really find any flaws. If I had to, I would say on one of the cufflink, the niello wasn't evenly applied around the edges but it really isn't noticeable, and it's a natural manufacturing flaw. It's about a hairline difference.
There's minor patina and has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped with soft jewelry cleaning cloth. This is an incredible pair of cufflinks and if you love niello, this will be a favorite in your collection or a great gift for a niello collector!
