Love tokens were typically engraved on old silver coins with letters, and/or images. In this case, there's a wonderful hand engraved designs with "Gene" in the center on one side and “CHE” initial on the other side. There are many love tokens out there but this is one of those which has such detailed art work by a Victorian master of the time.
The jump ring appears to be a modern ring and was not tested.
This lovely coin is in excellent condition with minimal wear, clean and ready to be given or worn. A great keepsake that would be a very sweet present or memento for yourself.
