This wonderful nun's cross is dated the 26th of April, 1896 and has a initial and name which I can't make out. The front and the back also has a hand engraved sacred heart.
The cross measures 1.05 inches by 2.25 inches. The cross is in excellent condition for something that is 126 years old! These quite often have wobble in the metal from being grasped and rubbed with the thumb but this one is perfect - the silver was never bent. There are a few light surface scratches but that's all. Clean and ready to wear or give as a gift.
