This is an amazing Etruscan style set which was from England 1886. It is actually in incredible condition. I believe the brooch is only missing the back cover which doesn't affect the integrity of this treasure. The earrings have no flaws, with evidence of conversion to modern ear posts and butterfly backs.
Besides the normal wear, there are only surface scratches on these pieces. There is heavy patina on the metal and has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner. I have only gently wiped with soft jewelry cleaning cloth. The dark spots are reflections and patina.
Mark(s): Rubbed maker's mark, the lion for sterling, Chester hallmark, and the letter "C" for 1886.
