It is absolutely wonderful, It comes with all the trimmings: Heavy silver with yellow and rose gold applied bird, butterfly, a dragonfly and lots of baubles around the locket! This is definitely a miniature piece of art from the Victorian era.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eBesides the normal surface wear, the overall condition is exceptionally impressive. This locket has light superficial scratches, it is in amazing shape with a sturdy and firm hinge and closes securely. This locket opens to reveal two clear covers to keep photos securely stored away.  The original inserts are not present but can be added easily if desired.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eFor the sake of accuracy, under close inspections, there are about 2 minuscule needle dings on the back cover, no damages, and no repairs! Just incredible. It is in excellent antique condition with slight patina. It has not been professionally cleaned. I leave this up to the new owner.
